Minor status update

I’m done with the basics of the basics. Now it’s time to put something in the repository. But I’m a bit afraid to base it on the sample application template provided on the official page. Its node_modules directory, where dependencies are stored, contains 361 items  – do I really need them all? The config file mentions testing tools, like Protractor (integration, “self-clicking” tests) and Karma (unit test runner) –  I’m not going to use them right from the beginning, maybe later, maybe not at all, so these are candidates for getting rid of. So no details in this post, the next step is to set up some concise environment.
